In her nearly 30 year career, she has worked with clients in Austin and throughout the US to transform their spaces and enhance their lifestyles through design. She is the principal of her award-winning design firm, Amity Worrel & Co. Interior Design for over a decade, and in addition to clients, Amity consults with current and aspiring interior designers to help guide them in their career choices.

Amity’s strength is in connecting with people, planning spaces where people can thrive and feel comfortable while also making them uniquely personal and beautiful. Project management of these comprehensive design jobs is also a specialty, as well as guiding her team of designers toward best practices so that their work is appreciated and expressed in the designs the firm produces.

How do I prepare for my zoom consultation with Amity?

You'll receive a link to your zoom call via email from askamity. Like any zoom, (we expect you're probably familiar) you'll be face-to-face with Amity via computer or phone. You can walk through your space, share images via screenshare, and ask questions while Amity provides feedback/advice. This is your time, and it will be as structured or informal as you decide.

What can I expect at the end of my consultation?

Amity's experience in the industry will be evident when your one-on-one consultation is complete. Questions that you have asked will have been answered, and you will have received expert advice concerning your new project or your next steps. Furthermore, you should expect that your hour-long conversation will be both fun and efficient.

Can I give an "Ask Amity" consultation as a gift?

What a great idea! However, right now, Ask Amity is only available one-on-one with the direct consultation recipient for a limited time. If this service becomes available in the future, we'll surely let you know.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancellations received less than 24 hours in advance are non-refundable, therefore we request 24 hour advance notice if you need to cancel. If something comes up that is unavoidable and we need to cancel, we will work to find an alternate time that works for us both. If that is not possible, a refund will be issued.
