Highland Design Atelier

Welcome to Highland Design Atelier, the new Headquarters of Amity Worrel & Co.

This past October, we officially outgrew the 52nd Street former home to Amity Worrel & Co. - dubbed The Studio - that we purchased back in 2021. Our former office space offered warm, cozy charm with its period features and our 1920s inspired Farrow and Ball color palette. As our staff and projects were growing, so was the need for a larger space.

Our new, more versatile workshop space is over 2800 square feet and an ever-changing canvas for our creative work. We’re loving every second of it.

It’s a former cinder block industrial warehouse built in the 1950s that started its life as a stone-cutting shop—a lovely tie-in to our industry. The new space is all about function, so what better way to style the space than with a dose of inspiration from the Bauhaus School?

It has everything we need for our thriving Austin residential interior design business. Twelve massive casement windows flood the large open space with natural light. The lot has ample parking for staff, clients and vendors. In the back is a large loading deck with big metal doors that are perfect for receiving deliveries. There are two private offices built-out for our presentations and meetings, but the rest of the space is an open loft style, reminiscent of 1980s SoHo.

Even our resident office cat, Adora Basket agrees, it is absolutely amazing in every way!
