Established in New York in 2006, Amity Worrel & Co. has been commissioned for a wide variety of projects both in New York, the Midwest, and here in Austin.
The Amity Worrel team finds solutions for the way we live today, without neglecting the past, to create a comfortable, fresh, pleasing, and unpretentious outcome. We pride ourselves on being efficient and developing great relationships with our clients in order to better understand and accomplish their design goals.
We provide design services for projects ranging from industrial lofts to traditional ranch homes, renovations or custom new builds, contemporary to classic. Our interiors highlight the personality and experiences of our clients, while refining their style and adding sophistication, always with a sense of humor. Our goal is to achieve easy beauty that adds value to our client’s daily life and to allow their interiors to showcase them at their best.
Amity has been working in the design field for over 20 years in a variety of environments–from the urban landscape of NYC to the beaches of the Bahamas. After starting her career at Christie’s Auction House, where she fell in love with design and learned a great deal about furniture and art, Amity attended both the New York School of Interior Design and Parsons School of Design. Amity had the invaluable opportunity to work very closely with two of the nation’s top interior designers, Jeffrey Bilhuber and Tom Scheerer, for nearly a decade. While at those high-end residential design firms, she worked with tastemakers, style leaders, and celebrity clients to create interiors that satisfied their discerning and demanding tastes. She launched her own firm in NYC in 2006.
Amity returned to her home town of Austin in 2008 to set-up shop as Amity Worrel & Co, and has grown to include an accomplished professional team who have helped achieve published designs for residences throughout the city. Her native understanding of the Austin lifestyle and its neighborhoods are an invaluable asset to navigate well through this fast-paced, booming environment.
The unique ability to connect with clients, combined with her outstanding design and project management skills, makes Amity and her talented team well-suited to getting projects completed beautifully with efficiency and vigor.
Andrée worked in the fashion and photography industries in New York City for over 15 years as a stylist, producer and agent. While representing a preeminent interiors photographer with accounts like Elle Decor and Ralph Lauren Home, she cultivated a love of interior design. Upon moving to Austin, she joined the team at Amity Worrel & Co. as a project manager.
Andrée’s experience producing big-budget photo shoots around the world allows her to oversee design projects both big and small with an impeccable attention to detail and a keen eye on the bottom line. That same attention to detail extends to procuring just the right finishing touches for each project. The hunt for unique furniture and accessories, both new and vintage, is her passion.

Allison holds a BA in Apparel Design and Fashion Merchandising from Ball State University.
