Our client’s existing primary bathroom was modern and bright, but it wasn’t holding up well through wear. They came to us to help make the room reflect their laid-back style and wanted us to think through some of the challenges with the existing layout, specifically the shower.
Our goal was to create a cohesive connection between the shower and tub while bringing the style more in line with the mid-century feel of the house. The bright, bohemian, encaustic floor tile was the starting point for the scheme. A stained wood tub apron and new above-counter cabinet storage were added to coordinate with the existing vanity. Matte black mosaic tile and plumbing mixed with touches of brass brought sophistication to the room. It now reflects their eclectic, worldly lifestyle and is their favorite room in the house!
