A new builder spec home provided a clean slate for this family’s contemporary style in an established neighborhood. While maintaining the existing countertops and backsplash tiles, the cabinet elevation was streamlined by extending it to the ceiling. Bright white cabinets replacing the builder-grade dark wood takes the kitchen’s design and storage to a much higher level of style and function. A tailored vent hood and the crisp white enamel cabinet pulls complete the modern style that the clients desired.
Following the kitchen remodel, the rest of the home was outfitted with colorful furniture selections in contrast to the all white kitchen, including a plush Moroccan rug. Our original textile combinations, like a custom headboard and throw pillows, supported our client’s vision for the family’s home. Their combined interests in education and technology inspired our styling in the final phase of the project.
