Highland Park
We reconfigured this 1950s home to bring cohesive connections to the mismatched addition. Functionality was key for this family and can be seen in the expanded kitchen cabinetry. Staying true to the client’s love of sports, we placed a TV in the entry room, as well as above the kitchen cabinets, allowing him to follow games in any room. We used a mottled orange backsplash tile as a nod to their alma mater, the University of Texas. The dining room with built-ins on either side was designed with the entire family in mind.
