This interior design project began with a kitchen renovation and some simple decor updates. However, as the collaboration between the Amity Worrel & Co. design team and the client progressed, it sparked a ripple effect that ultimately led to redesigning the entire home.
The main objective of the project was to create a warm and inviting space for the family, while also incorporating the client’s personal style.
Our Austin interior design team took on the challenge and successfully united traditional family heirlooms with contemporary, vibrant accents to achieve a playful, graphic, and bold effect. The living room and primary bedroom were transformed into cozy and stylish spaces, with carefully chosen furniture, accessories, and curated vintage finds that reflected the client’s personality.
But the project didn’t stop there. The client was so pleased with the results that they requested that our team extend the design concept to the home’s exterior. They wanted the same bold colors and graphic patterns incorporated into the new pool and patio area. Our team worked with a landscape architect to blend the outdoor entertaining space with the interior design. The result was a stunning and cohesive outdoor area that perfectly complemented the rest of the home.
A standout element of the outdoor space is the custom Alex Proba-inspired mural, enhanced by oversized sconces. This unique and artistic touch makes it a perfect spot for lounging and enjoying the warm Austin summers.
Next we were called in to create a stylish workspace on the landing to provide a space for homework or Zoom calls. The next order of business became renovating all three of the homes bathrooms, one for kids, one as powder bath/pool bath and one as a retreat for the parents with a steam shower for relaxing.
What started as a relatively small renovation turned into a full-scale redesign of the entire home, inside and out. The collaboration between our team and the client resulted in a stunning and personalized space that reflects the client’s style and brings their vision to life.
