Austin, TX — Amity Worrel, principal of Amity Worrel & Co. Interior Design is excited to announce that the firm received the top award for General Excellence in Interior Design at last night’s Austin Home & Design Awards. Winners were announced at the inaugural event presented virtually by Austin Home Magazine, an Austin Monthly publication. The city-wide competition was sponsored by Keller Williams.
Amity Worrel & Co. had been named a finalist in a total of 7 categories, including General Excellence. Austin-area top finalists in 53 categories were selected from 63 area firms by judges Bobby Berk, Netflix’s Queer Eye interior design guru, HGTV star Nicole Curtis, interior designers Allison Crawford, Kayla Cooper, Barrie Spang, and Lee Starke, as well as architects Brad Engelsman and Kinley Puzey
“We are grateful to Austin Home and the panel for this wonderful award. It’s an honor to be in such excellent company,” Worrel said upon receiving the award.
